UNIT 2 past simple

The past simple is used for:

• completed actions that took place at definite time in the past. The time is either mentioned or implied
• habitual or repeated past actions
• completed actions which happened one after the other in the past.

examples: 
 We walked to the station
  I played on a team when i was ten
  He got up, washed and left for work
